And you're probably tired of hearing "advance age". We're young! Stop saying 'advanced'. When a 90 year old woman wants to conceive, then we can call it "advance age".
But do you know what your chances of getting pregnant really are within a year? According to the National Center for Health Statistics, the odds are:
- 25 and under - your chances of getting pregnant are roughly 96%
- 25 to 34 - your chances of getting pregnant decrease to roughly 86%
- 35 to 44 - your chances of conceiving are roughly 78%
But you're not a statistic. You're you.
And if you've been trying for awhile, you probably start to wonder if you're going to be that small percentage that doesn't get pregnant within a year. I know it's scary.
Did you know Chinese medical practitioners, like in acupuncture, don't believe at infertility at any age provided you still have eggs and healthy reproductive organs? How refreshing!
That means they don't see a reason you can't get pregnant, naturally, even in your 40's.
This doesn't mean they ignore the idea that women entering their 40's and beyond have a more difficult time getting pregnant. But they also believe those issues are a result of a poorly balanced body or deficiencies.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine looks at your whole body, not just your reproductive organs. They work to balance you and create harmony.
While it's not a guarantee you'll have the same results, I used acupuncture in combination with the tips in this guide and got pregnant within 2 months. This was after I had been trying for nearly a year in my 30's and was completely discouraged. (please read more about who should NOT buy this guide here).
But if you're unsure about acupuncture, try acupressure, which doesn't involve needles. If you'd like to know more about acupuncture, check out this video:
