Sometimes you just need to hear some words of encouragement. Did you know many couples give up trying to have a baby after about a year of trying?
That means a lack of lifestyle change or timed intimacy are just odds stacked even higher against them.
It's frustrating, but you can get pregnant. You need to keep seeking out a healthier diet, lifestyle, and try alternatives like acupuncture or acupressure.
Make a list of everything you haven't tried out there to give some promise on how much left there is to explore so you can get pregnant:
- Face your fears and go see your doctor, gynecologist, or fertility specialist to rule out any hormone imbalances, thyroid issues, vitamin deficiencies, fibroids, or blocked tubes. You can get pregnant, even with fertility issues.
- Give up processed foods, gluten, and trans fats, or find alternatives that work for me. Like gluten free and wheat free truffle brownie mix. Add some organic Skippy peanut butter as frosting.
- Stop drinking on a daily basis, or cut it out completely. For some women, even small amounts of alcohol can interfere with ovulation.
- Meditate. It's free and is good for your mind and body, regardless of if you're trying to get pregnant.
- Listen to your body. Start charting your basal body temperature and note how you react to food.
- Maintain a healthy weight and exercise regularly.
- Do you crash after a meal? Your blood sugar may be spiking and all over the place. Try adding some cinnamon to your meal, or to your tea.
- Get more rest and plenty of water. If your body is using what little resources you're giving it, your ovulation and fertility will suffer.
- Keep trying, keep searching, and keep exploring!
