Get Pregnant Soon - What To Eat


I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what to eat to get pregnant soon, until I realized what not to eat might be more important.

Please consult your doctor for a full, recommended diet. 

As far as fertility boosting foods, following a few tips can generally benefit everyone.
  • Cooking or consuming coconut oil may beneficial for pregnancy. Coconut oil and related products are actually very healthy for you provided they are pure and unprocessed. Do not use hydrogenated or imitation coconut oil. 
    • I love cooking with coconut oil, it gives my food a slightly sweet taste. I personally feel coconut oil greatly helped regulate my digestive issues and cut cravings for sweets.
  • Eat more protein from plant sources like beans and nuts for a boost to your fertility and get pregnant soon. Some studies have linked a higher incidence of fertility to such protein boosters than from red meat and poultry.
  • Switch to whole milk. Recent studies have shown consuming whole dairy products can help add some protection to fertility, while skim milk seems to have the opposite effect.
  • Eat more eggs. Eggs are packed with nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin B5, vitamin B12 and choline among numerous others. Choline is required for healthy cell membrames. A study from Iowa State University showed that roughly 90% of the American population is deficient in chlomine. Eggs are highly nutritious for you and a developing fetus.
    • What about cholesterol and eggs? The egg vs. cholesterol has largely been debunked as a myth, and there's endless information out there about it. A study at the University of Arizona shows that eating 2 eggs a day with a low-fat diet does NOT raise cholesterol. Saturated fats are actually what raises cholesterol.
Believe it or not, numerous studies show that most unexplained fertility issues can be resolved with a proper diet. This is explained a little more in the What NOT to eat section.

And by the way, I was terrible at controlling my cravings and adding in more healthy foods until I learned these important tricks.
